For full information on the TRNG and NG Scripter, see the tools page and TRNG Updates information page. There is a selection of project files illustrating many of these tutorials available from the Project Files page.

Overview

The Next Generation Tomb Raider evolution is based on patcher library Tomb_NextGeneration.dll created by Paolone. This library enhances the features of WinRoomEdit, Tom2Pc and tomb4 programs. It is advisable to locate this library in the trle main folder and not to copy it into c:\windows\system. To enjoy ng features it is necessary to use the specific next generation executables supplied with tomb_nextgeneration.dll

Important: The NG game engine requires the use of the NG Scripter to produce working DAT files.
