In the words of the author, this is a Horror level and is not recommended for children or people who scare easily! This Lara adventure was inspired by the movie The Ring.

If possible, watch the film "The Ring" before playing in order to know the winks and play preferably in the evening to better profit from the atmosphere!

Story

The old ranch and the gloomy house which you will undoubtedly visit are on the small island of Moeskeo. Strange and gruesome things have happened there and left their trails...

Description

This level is really special; the atmosphere is spooky and gruesome. Throughout the whole game I had a creepy feeling, and there are some special effects which shocked me. The sound goes right through the player and makes the blood freeze.

Well chosen and applied textures (Bibi played with them in a real good way), grey fog, new objects like ghosts, the witch, an upside down turning chair, water turning into blood, executioner's rope, the blood on the floor and the walls and, naturally, the video tape and the TV – it is a great adaptation to the movie “The Ring”.

The whole level is dark, especially in the cellar, but Lara finds a lot of flares and the darkness is no problem. Although there are no enemies during the whole level, the atmosphere is frightening. “The Ring” is one of my favourite levels, close the curtains and enjoy it ;)

An eerie region, where Lara starts and has to find a doll. But before she can get it, it’s necessary to find two pieces which Lara can use as a shovel.

You will find the first piece in the barnyard.

Lara has to go down here, passing a witch on the way.

Into the mountain and down again, a looooong way down . . .

Lara pushes the button and watches a videotape!!!

The tree grows some red leaves and the doll on the ground has disappeared.
