Story

Lara returns to the monastery above St Francis’ Folly to find Thor's temple, wherein lies his golden glove.

This is a TR1 Rome style level, set in the temple of Thor atop St Francis’ Folly. Traps consist of flames, spikes, swinging chains and boulders. Enemies are skeletons and knights, although horsemen and wraiths rear their ugly heads too! The solid game play is mainly finding keys or pulling very well hidden levers so you can open doors and progress through the temple to the room where Thor’s gold glove resides. Along with the usual TR1 favourites there are one or two nice surprises thrown in; a twist on the “burning floor” and a “leap of faith” into a flame pit! The traps and enemies are not too difficult and are placed so far apart that there is an air of isolation as you wander through the vast rooms, pools and caverns that make up the temple.

Altogether this is an enjoyable raid in an atmospheric setting. It is so well put together that it hard to believe that this is the builder's first level.
