Story

Knossos, once an astonishing palace and splendid centre of the antique Minoan World, is nowadays just a pile of barely reconstructed old stones. Who doesn't know the classical Greek myths that have grown up around this place? Like Daidalos, who was compelled by king Minos to construct an invincible labyrinth; about  the Minotaur – a monster half man, half bull – banished  in that gloomy hallway system somewhere under the palace, lurking for human sacrifices; about Ariadne, who gave the now proverbial red coloured woollen thread to her lover Theseus to help him find his way out of the maze.

Our wellknown adventurer found out about another Legend: it tells that at the moment of a total eclipse exactly over the ruins, the palace would appear for a few precious moments in its former splendour. Of course, it's only an untenable myth. However, coincidentally this very rare mythical event is imminent so why not go and have a look?

Maybe during your adventures you will find a few hints about some vanished part of the Minoan Realm which once was located on the neighbouring island of Santorini, which sank 3600 years previously during a heavy vulcano eruption. There are archaeologists around who even claim this sunken world is the mythical Atlantis. Should be an interesting place, if it exists.

It's not the tourist season and therefore it's very quiet. However, your rivals never take time off and they, too, are heading for the Aegean Sea. It's time to pack your pistols and get moving.

Aegean Legends

I played this big adventure over several days and what a great adventure it was. Tough, yes, but in turn it rewarded me with some memorable moments of absorbing gameplay which I will treasure forever.

You will be exploring breathtaking palaces, crawling through tight cavern passages, walking in musky sewers and swimming down to the depths of the oceans, all of which will keep you captivated and entertained right up to the very end. During your adventure you will be treated to some stimulating and testing tasks, such as timed runs, tricky jumps and puzzles to solve, as you search for clues.

All in all, this is a level set which flows together just nicely, capturing an immense and demanding Lara adventure for us Raiders. So if you're up for some excitement with plenty of exploring and challenges, then this fine level set is just for you.
