Story

This is an Egyptian style tutorial level made to help level builders to create different kinds of puzzles not explained in the manual. However, it is also an enjoyable level to play.

Some of the tutorial specifics included within the level are distance fog, mist effects, multiple switches and doors, pushable objects, the scales puzzle (with or without ahmets), sequence switches, element puzzles (with bag of sand, jerrican, burning torch and waterskin), the death slide (tight rope from TR5), horizontal polerope (from TR5), twoblock platform, mirror effect, travelling cameras and how to build your own personal scripts.

Important

As all the background music tracks are the original ones, be sure you have an original audio folder in your trle root folder before starting the game. In order to see the fog effect, turn OFF the volumetric effects. There are 3 secrets.

Egyptian Dream

Even if the aim of this level was to teach us advanced puzzles from the level editor, I found it interesting to study and enjoyable to play. Of course we could blame the lack of story and the succession of puzzles on this, which makes this level a bit too linear, but having said that, what remains are geometrically perfect and well-textured rooms with a diversity of gameplay and over an hour of wandering through dreamy rooms. It is well called and it is easy to imagine a story. After so many adventures in Egypt, Lara must dream about those sandy temples and THIS would be her dream!
