12 Monkeys
Lost in the future, Lara must find the machine which allows
James Cole and herself to cross time again and return to the
present. Will the ‘Army of the 12 Monkeys’ help her or be
her enemy? And what about the virus that has spread?

A gripping two level adventure that had me in its clutches
within a few minutes and didn't let me go until the final
flyby camera. I say two levels but it was really one huge
epic level split in two. Trying to get through this in one
sitting is serious Raiding and if you attempt it you will be
exhausted at the end of it, as I was.
The gameplay was very much exploration at its best and I
doubt anyone who plays it will find much fault with that
aspect of the game. But this is Lara at the Movies we're
talking here, so don't expect a walk in the park. Not at
all, this is more of a curved banana jumps and sweaty palms
in the park.
Having said that, let me add that this is one incredibly
solid level, which is so well constructed I never once had
any niggling doubts that I'd hit a bug. Quite a feat
considering the scale of this adventure.
If exploration is your thing, and you've learned the knack
of curved jumps round pillars, do yourself a big favour and
stick this somewhere near the top of your 'to play' list.
